ESG Programme Manager
Excellent in-house ESG role with a unique angle. Working internally to pick up on ESG reporting and disclosures, this is an excellent role to tell a positive story around ESG both internally and to external clients.
As the ESG Programme Manager, you'll be driving the ESG agenda at one of the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment firms as they work towards being a net zero carbon business by 2030 across scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
In additional to tracking, monitoring, interrogating, and reporting on workstream key performance indicators that sit under the three pillars - Planet, People and Practices - and by liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders, you will support the ESG Lead with providing regular KPI update reports to the ESG Committee and other key stakeholders.
But this is an in-house ESG job with a difference - we're looking to recruit an ESG professional who can also pick up an innovative tool that's been developed in-house that uses gamification to drive employee engagement. Working closely with the ESG Engagement and Behaviour Change Lead, you will play an active part in maintaining and further developing a high-quality employee engagement platform by continually managing and reviewing the platform's ESG-related content to ensure it maintains the high standards of quality, relevance, and insightfulness that users require. There will be an opportunity to develop this software and promote the uptake of the employee engagement platform within the CBRE business and external clients and support the onboarding of new clients and users.
Other responsibilities will include overseeing the smooth running of the sustainability employee network which includes the planning of events, upskilling opportunities and increasing the network's profile across the business; Support the ESG and Communications Team with the planning and delivery of key engagement programmes such as Green Week; Stay abreast of current trends, best practice and legislation to ensure workstreams remain current and leading edge and finally, Supporting the ESG Lead as required on delivery of the ESG Programme.
The successful incumbent will ideally hold a Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Climate Change) and have c.5 years of experience plus of professional experience ideally working in ESG or CSR, or in a role that included significant data reporting and engagement with a wide range of colleagues.
This role is London/hybrid based. Right to work in the UK is required.
