Permanent Estimator Wanted for Immediate start in Chessington, Surrey

A market leading company that design, engineer and supply bespoke external fa\u00E7ade solutions. Activities include, product development and design, engineering, testing, procurement, manufacture, offsite fabrication and supply. Our target markets are the large commercial projects, where the quality of the facade and its design are considered paramount. We will liaise initially with the Project Architects, from the early concept stage, and latterly with the Main Contractor and Fa\u00E7ade Contractor. We have supplied some of the World's best loved and acclaimed buildings, such as the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, the New Tate Modern Extension, and the 2014 Stirling Price winning Everyman Theatre in Liverpool. Your new role

The position is based at our main office in Chessington, Surrey, involving all aspects of estimating and financial planning to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role may include liaising with Architects, Clients and Contractors and attending site meetings. You will be reporting to the Contracts Director. You will be responsible for the estimating, financial planning, forecasting, and monitoring of the project expenditure, working closely with the project delivery team. You will also be responsible for Health and Safety issues and risk management documentation to minimize risks. You would be required to establish and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers as well as finding new ones and encourage them to meet our programme requirements. You will also need to have to ability to resolve conflicts with Customer or suppliers should problems arise. You will need to ensure that adequate resources are always available to achieve the objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

A proven working experience as an Estimator in the construction industry sector, and preferably in the fa\u00E7ade supply sector. Experience of being responsible for the financial planning, forecasting, and monitoring of the project expenditure and of general building techniques and fa\u00E7ade systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with solid organization, accuracy, attention to detail. Good Excel, numeracy and computer skills are important. The ability to get the best out of people and projects to produce a detailed plan with objectives and deadlines to track progress.
