Job description

FTSE 250 Companies to work for with a turnover of over £200 million are seeking an Events Coordinator/Business Development Assistant to join their team on a full time basis.

Some of the key duties include

* Book venues and hospitality

* Negotiate fees, demonstrate best value, and ensure events stay within budget and sense check spend

* Create event plans, including risk register for each event

* Visit venues and request samples to ensure best quality

* Work with Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator to develop invitations and event branding

* Dispatch invitations and manage attendees list

* Be on site for start of events to ensure set up is correct, e.g., catering, name badges, place settings, meet and greet, cloakrooms

* Ensure attending staff are briefed in advance of events and that adequate support is arranged e.g. Information Managers / Venue Staff

* Produce a monthly internal event newsletter

* Enter details of events and onto CRM

* Maintain and update hospitality lists and record invitations on CRM

* Liaise with MSFitout Marketing Team on national events and branding for events

* Manage marketing budget

The ideal canddiate must have previous telesales and event management experience within Construction. They must be enthusiastic, keen with a lot of drive to be able to work in a team & on their own.
