Job description

Are you looking for a part time Executive Officer role with the option of flexible working, to support our CEO and other team members? Currently home based with the view to working in London one day a week (we don't anticipate this starting until 2022).

Varied and interesting work, in a small, collaborative team who are currently home based, and reporting to the CEO you'd be providing support to the CEO and other members of the team as required. Tasks would include managing our email information request in-box and passing queries to the relevant member of the team and uploading and integrating data in the CRM (Salesforce) and processing payments.

You:

Must be familiar with use of MS Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel
Must have high attention to detail particularly for help with CRM data uploading
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be able to manage a large workload to deadlines
Must be able to prioritise & communicate with the team in order to effectively to manage tasks as assigned
Must have a positive, can do attitude and always be willing to help with any task assigned
Must have experience working in an office environment, preferably within the charity sector and ideally within an administrative capacity.

You will have the essential role of supporting with a wide variety of administrative tasks as required. You will be self-motivated and able to work independently, be a good communicator in writing and have a friendly and diplomatic telephone manner while also being comfortable following instructions and working closely with other team members. You need to be be a positive person with a can-do attitude who is willing to go above and beyond to help the team in any way required. The successful candidate will also be willing to undertake tasks not specified in the job description as required and will be a self-starter who is willing to learn as they go and take on challenges outside of their comfort zone.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

Have experience in working in an office environment, ideally within the charity sector and within an administrative capacity
Have experience in using the MS Office suite with a high proficiency in the use of MS Excel and a CRM or Database (preferably Salesforce)
Have high attention to detail particularly for processing grant payments and administration of record keeping
Have an interest in, and commitment to, our cause

Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Manage workload to deadlines
Have discretion when dealing with sensitive materials
Be a confident team player with a positive outlook who is able to work well with others
Have the ability to manage time and a heavy workload effectively in a very fast-paced, high-energy growing and ever-changing environment
