Job description

As a Field Service Engineer, reporting to the Senior Manager. You will be joining a growing and highly technical team, who strive to provide the best customer service possible. You will be supported by a coordinator and wider technical specialists. You will take the lead for your region, providing full technical repair support directly to customers, providing technical feedback to help resolve issues and improve product performance.

About Your Role:

  • Effectively manage daily workload and carry out scheduled repairs.
  • Successfully diagnose problem and test products.
  • Support the technical help desk and repair network.
  • Manage adequate van stock levels to ensure a high first time repair completion rate.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and accurate document working records
  • Support the servicing of advanced Premium products.
  • Build your product knowledge base through continuous learning and training.
  • Bring the practical skills learned in the market back into the technical support function and to act as repair escalation point for the market.

Profile

About You:

A customer first approach.

A qualification in engineering, electrical or servicing.

Brown goods/white goods repair services experience would be an advantage but not essential.

Current F gas certification is an a plus but training can be provided.

Must have a clean driving license record.

An excellent communicator together with a high level of customer care and service skills

Self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision and direction with a fully flexible approach to the work

Familiar with and adopts a high level of health and safety standards.

This role is Monday to Friday but some weekend or out of hours work may be required in special circumstances.
