Job description

I am currently recruiting a Finance Assistant (Sales Ledger) to work for a large construction company based in London, close to Victoria station.

This is a permanent role looking for someone to start immediately.

Client Details

My client is a global construction and design company and have been involved in the build and installation on some of the most iconic skyscrapers in London, across the wider UK, the Middle East and Asia.

Due to continued growth they are now looking to hire a Finance Assistant (Sales Ledger) to oversee the Sales Ledger function and assist the Finance Manager in invoicing.

This is a permanent role.

Sales Ledger

Sales invoicing
Bank reconciliations
Credit Control
Overseeing the pipeline of Leads and Quotes (using WorkflowMax platform)
Take role of administrator of WorkFlowMax (WFM) platform including setting up and administration duties, ownership of WFM process and related templates, and providing training where required
Multiple inbox management
Preparation of sales ledger for timely month end procedure Portfolio & Project Financial Support

Working alongside business support team to;

Carry out approval and management of Portfolio Client's supplier invoices
Taking the lead role in portfolio billing, working to ensure timely collection of PO's, assisting with maintenance of asset registers, invoicing.Profile

Experience

2+ years' experience in similar role (Essential)Qualifications

AAT Level 3 or equivalent (Essential)
Holds current membership with AATTechnical Skills / Competencies

Knowledge of debits and credits (Essential)
Ownership of sales ledger (Essential)
Confident investigating historic transactional discrepancies (Essential)
Confident using cloud based accountancy software and learning new systems (Experience of Xero and WorkFlowMax desirable)
Good administrative skills
Good customer communicationQualities

Excellent attention to detail
Confident communicating with senior heads in the business
Ability to work under own initiative
Willingness to participate in broader company meetings and activitiesJob Offer

The successful candidate will be paid £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
