The WaterAid Finance Business Partners team is there to ensure everyone has the information that they need for the decisions that need to be taken, sometimes to be the voice of reason, to explain and flag potential problems and risks and to identify potential opportunities.
As our Business Partner you will provide support for the Communications and Fundraising Departments, covering diverse income streams and types of expenditure.

Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will champion and ensure best practice in monitoring and evaluating performance as well as specifically lead on the budgeting process, develop good quality forecasting and enhance self-service reporting.
You will also:
* Regularly advise UK team leaders and senior managers, reviewing financial performance and operational plans.
* Develop a systematic forecasting process for departments and ensure robust 3-year financial plans are live
* Develop enhanced self-service reporting relevant at budget holder and department level that supports optimal decision-making
* Create efficient finance processes that best deliver the needs of the organisation
* Provide training and advice to build the financial management competencies of budget holders
* Work closely with the wider finance and IS team on delivering the organisational priorities
This is a very exciting opportunity to join our Finance Business Partnering team. To be successful, you will have:
* Completed a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
* Experience of formulating, overseeing and reporting on operational plans, including KPIs
* Demonstrable innovative ability; using data and insight to inform recommendations for improvements to products, processes or activities
* Proven experience of using insight and analysis to provide trends, inform and drive business decisions
Salary: Up to £47,000 with excellent benefits
36 days' holiday (including Bank Holidays)

Additional Information:
WaterAid is located in Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base. Please be aware that this role is UK based only. WaterAid is open and supportive of flexibility. We are currently defining our approach to hybrid working. The right balance between office and home-based working should be agreed with your line manager. Your flexibility requirements and that of the role will be discussed at the interview stage with you.
