Goodman Masson are supporting a boutique Investment Management group in their search for Finance Manager based in the West-End. They embrace technology and use it to leverage and add value to their investments.

This is a fantastically broad and varied opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant to provide financial leadership to the business with responsibility for the full end-to-end management of the group's finance function. The role includes preparation and analysis of the management accounts, financial and regulatory reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, cash management, tax and payroll activities.

Paying £50,000 - £60,000, this position would suit a recently qualified accountant trained in practice ideally with audit and accounts preparation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including AP/AR for the group and its commercial interests
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting to the Board and investors
• Prepare annual statutory accounts liaising with external auditors to managing the audit process
• Support effective lending decisions performing due diligence on prospective client's financial position
• Support management on ad hoc requests to understand the business and its performance

Key Attributes:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA Practice trained Accountant
• Excellent MS Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and accounting software (Quickbooks desirable)
• Commercial, flexible and entrepreneurial with a naturally inquisitive mindset
• Keen to embrace technological solutions to drive efficiency
• Solid commercial knowledge of tax, accounting and accounting principles (FRS 102)
