To sweep and vacuum floors. To collect and dispose of rubbish & recycling frequently during the day. To dust and wipe all surfaces, doors etc as required. · To restock the linen cupboards on floors daily/as required, by carrying out the following activities: Count linen deliveries daily and distribute linen onto all floors. To collect all clean linen from the Laundry. To clear all dirty linen/towelling from allocated floors. To separate sizes of items e.g. single, queen and king. To stack shelves under the appropriate headings. Report any concerns or shortages to the laundry manager or laundry supervisor. As a Casual Floor Porter, you will work as many hours as you may wish, just make sure to let your Manager or Supervisor know and they will schedule you accordingly.
