An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join a thriving and successful client to Teach Food Technology. The timetable will be Key Stage 3 which will consist of Year 7 & Year 9.

This post would suit someone with a real passion for teaching Food Technology and has a

Hands-on approach. This role will involve a lot of practicals and the Technician will be with you in your lessons and you can start immediately.

If successfully you will be joining high-performing department with experience colleagues whose role is to support, you through the next stages of your professional development. You will report to the Head of Department and would be responsible to provide the full learning experience and support the students. You will also promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and of the Form Tutor Group as a whole. You will liaise with a Pastoral Leader to ensure the implementation of the school's Pastoral System. Students are overwhelmingly well-behaved and are a credit to them. They expect and require high standards of behaviour from students at all times.

You would be involved in the school's staff development programme by participating in arrangements for further training and professional development. You will be offered continue personal development in the relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods. The school will ensure the effective/efficient deployment of classroom support.
