Role Overview:As a front-end software engineer, you will be building innovative FinTech products, including launching a version of the successful Finder mobile app currently live in Australia, to help our customers make better financial decisions. You will be critical to the success of the UK engineering team and will have a significant impact on Finder's accelerated growth globally.In this role, you will:Develop innovative products to help our customers make better financial decisions and therefore help improve their lives,Partner with a passionate, respectful and talented team,Have the freedom and ownership to deliver value for our customers and hence Finder,Operate in a healthy working environment with flexible working options and emphasis on work-life balance,Have the opportunity to learn, develop yourself and grow your career, andEmploy modern tools and technologies.Our stack currently includes:JavaScript, TypeScriptReact NativeGraphQLNode.jsMongoDBServerless FrameworkDockerKubernetesTerraformAWSResponsibilities:Work in a cross-functional team to design and build web and mobile solutions.Focus on the front-end, and assist across the stack, to deliver effective solutions.Contribute to building and shaping the UK engineering team and culture.Collaborate with engineers in other geographical locations.Contribute to the UK and global engineering strategies.Desired Experience and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience in front-end web application development.Fundamental understanding of back-end, databases, CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.Experience in modern JavaScript.Nice to have:Experience in Finder tech stack, mentioned above.Experience in quality management and testing.Experience in application security, access management, performance and monitoring.Experience in working with distributed systems, including microservices.Experience in event-driven architecture.Experience with FinTech products and services.Experience in hiring and mentoring.Understanding of Agile engineering practices.Who We Are:This is your opportunity to join Finder.com, the UK's fastest-growing personal finance comparison platform.
