Job description

Role Title: Fund Accountant || Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

This role is perfect for someone looking to join a cutting edge hedge fund who use an algorithmic approach based on quant models to invest. You would be working for a very innovative business who leverage off technology to provide superior returns to their investors.

The role is a Fund Accounting role so they are looking for somebody who is either a fully qualified accountant or in the process of qualifying with a good understanding of funds and knowledge of their products - equities, bonds, derivatives etc.

The business take on intelligent individuals who seek to add value and look to improve working methods either through automation or more efficient processes.

The purpose of the role is to provide financial information and useful analysis. Key responsibilities include:

• Validation of the fund NAVs
• Managing relationships with external stakeholders and providers e.g. auditors, fund administrators, tax etc.
• Produce management information such as Board Reports and Revenue information
• Budgeting and Forecasting for the funds
• Manage tax and audit process for funds along with reviewing relevant legal and policy documentation

Given the high profile nature of the role, they are looking for someone with experience working with traded financial products or fund structures experience as a minimum requirement.
