* Transform the lives of blind and partially sighted people living in Croydon* Use your creativity to raise funds from Trusts and Foundations* Part-time (21 hours per week, flexible)Charity People are working in partnership with Croydon Vision who are searching for a Fundraiser to develop their Trusts and Foundations program. This is a fantastic time to join Croydon Vision during a period of transformation as they embark on an ambitious growth strategy. The OrganisationCroydon Vision is dedicated to improving the lives of blind and partially sighted people. 9,420 people are currently living in Croydon with some form of sight loss. Croydon Vision provide paid and subsidised support services both physically and virtually. They ensure no-one is left behind. Croydon Vision transform lives and create a journey to independence. They encourage people to re-evaluate what's possible when you're blind or partially sighted, to know there is life after sight loss. The Role You will join Croydon Vision during a period or growth. Between 2018 and 2020 their income grew by 42%. You will build on this growth by developing a strategic Trusts and Foundations program.Specifically, you will:* Create emotionally compelling, impact driven cases for support* Research and identify funding opportunities with aligning trusts and foundations* Write, coordinate and submit creative and successful funding applications* Develop relationships with funder/donors and provide excellent stewardship* Collaborate with the Croydon Vision team to achieve their long-term goalsAbout You The ideal person for this role will be an exceptional and creative fundraiser with excellent writing skills and a good track record in securing funding from Trusts and Foundations and/or other sources. You will be passionate and motivated by Croydon Vision's mission to reach more people experiencing sight loss and their ambitious strategy to increase their turnover to £1M by 2023.This role is a part-time, flexible role.
