Fundraising Administrator
Location: Islington
Department: Fundraising
Hours: 28.8 hours (4 days based on full time 36 hours)
Location: Expected to work from an office in London at least one day a week.
Salary: From £20,474-£21,822, if the candidate lives in London, £17,297-£20598 if live outside London

KIDS is a national charity which has been supporting disabled children, young people and their families since 1970.

We work with children, from birth through to 25 years. Each year we support over 11,800 disabled children and work with about 60 Local Authorities across England.

About The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Fundraising Administrator to join a friendly, vibrant, exciting and fun team in a great charity, providing a strong sense of achievement in a rewarding role. You'll be enthusiastic, efficient, friendly and supportive of both the aims of the organisation and your colleagues. Delivering great service to supporters and the public, high quality administrative support to your colleagues, and flexibility to undertake new tasks when needed.

The main purpose of the role of Fundraising administrator at KIDS is to:

Provide effective and efficient administration to colleagues in the fundraising and communications functions at KIDS
Deal with donations, donors and enquirers coming into the central fundraising and communications functions at KIDS.
Provide additional support on projects as needed by colleagues in the fundraising team, such as event logistics, mailings, marketing etc

About You

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

Experience of databases, data entry, exports, reporting and GDPR
Delivering excellent customer service through email correspondence and over the telephone
Setting up payments and making payments on finance systems
Using spreadsheets to collect, sort and report data
Arranging meetings, organising diaries and online calendars
Working with finance colleagues and other teams internally,
Showing a willingness to understand systems and processes, contributing to maintenance and improvement.
Working with members of the public from a variety of backgrounds
Adaptability to learn and take on new tasks and projects
