Role: Global Head of Insurance Industry Sales

Location: London

This is a senior sales position with Fitch Solutions. In this high-profile sales role, you will be responsible for leading the sales effort for Fitch Solutions in the Insurance Industry, with sales and revenue responsibility globally. You will be responsible for leading the team composed of Account Managers aligned to the Insurance Industry globally. You will work with the rest of the Fitch Solutions and Fitch Group management in building and growing its business in the Insurance sector.

The incumbent of this role will:

  • Define Fitch Solutions growth and sales strategy in the Insurance (Insurance, Re-Insurance, Insurance-related Asset Management, InsureTech, and adjacencies) sector
  • Establish Fitch Solutions thought leadership in the use and application of ratings (ratings,credit, ESG) and data, research, models, analytics and other solutions present in Fitch's solution portfolio across the Insurance sector
  • Develop and train the global sales organization on key global insurance trends, regulations and build in the teams a high level of domain and insurance workflow knowledge to position Fitch Solutions as a key partner to the customer's strategic priorities and needs
  • Collaborate with business and product leadership in planning, designing and developing Fitch Solutions industry-specific offerings (a solution, product,or package) that address workflow requirements or problems unique to the industry
  • Represent the firm in the assigned industry by being the face of Fitch Solutions to the wider market at conferences, and industry events
  • Provide leadership to the global sales force aligned to assigned industry ensuring best-of-class territory plans are in place, large account plans are developed, and win plans are properly executed
  • Work with senior management and other sales groups globally in developing and executing a strategic sales and marketing plan to generate new business and identify market opportunity in the assigned industry. Collaborate with regions in executing the Insurance sector sales agenda across territories.


Person Specification
  • Significant experience in the Insurance/Re-insurance sector
  • Significant exposure to regulators, Board-level and C-suite level customers, across multiple geographies
  • Proven track record in developing new business, driving growth initiatives and growing revenue streams in the Insurance industry
  • Extensive experience in sales across key global markets, implementing disciplined robust sales process, managing a sales cadence
  • Track record of sales leadership, achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Understanding of what it takes to build sales capabilities and capacity in a global matrixed sales organization
  • Willing to travel extensively globally
