Job description

Hobson Prior are seeking a Head of Clinical Operations to join a growing organisations who are specials in the area of cardiopulmonary research.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
*Key Responsibilities: *

* Planning resources and timelines for study execution.
* Identifying, selecting, the CROs and other vendors required to conduct clinical trials from start up to final CSR.
* Directly manage CROs in conduct of clinical trials to ensure trials are performed to a high standard of quality, on time and to budget.
* Provide Input to early development plans to map out what will be needed for the development of pipeline products and alternative or additional indications.
* Contribute to external meetings as required including scientific advisory boards, regulatory and ethics committee meetings.
* Input to, preparation of and update of appropriate SOPs.
*Requirements:*

* PhD degree would be preferred.
* A background in non-malignant haematology and coagulation would be an advantage.
* A track record of external vendor selection and management
* Successful track record of leading and overseeing the execution of large multi-region clinical trials in indications requiring urgent treatment.
