Charity People is delighted to have partnered with a youth charity in their search for a Head of Corporate. You will lead their corporate team with a focus on current partners and new business and raise funds that help deliver their vision to end youth unemployment in the UK.

Through their education, training and employment programs they give young people the opportunities they need to succeed in life and the workplace. They operate across England and Scotland. They make a difference to the lives of young people living in 36 of the UK's most disadvantaged communities.

About the role

This is a newly created role in the Commercial Fundraising Team, responsible for leading a small team raising funds from strategic partnerships with corporates.

You will lead and implement the corporate strategy, with a focus on stewarding existing partners, developing new business and creating opportunities that inspire long term financial support from corporates.

This is a high impact and successful team managing high-level partnerships. Your role will be to inspire and motivate your team to further develop the scope of their partnerships and income.

About you

You will be an experienced people manager, with a proven track record of managing high-level partnerships with corporates. Preferably these will be multi-year partnerships at 5figures+.

As this role has a new business focus you will be able to demonstrate from previous roles, your ability to identify opportunities, develop creative proposals and deliver successful pitches.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who is able to inspire confidence in their team, potential/current partners and wider organisational stakeholders.
