Head of IT
London/Remote

Head of IT, Cloud, Systems and Security is sought by hugely buoyant, fast-growth and successful technology consultancy organisation. You will be managing their journey into automation and building out their IT department with a focus on introducing multi-cloud environments, managing their infrastructure and being responsible for IT security across the business. This is a fully hands-on, varied role which will see you reporting into a non-technical board Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the infrastructure across the business is secure and deal with all cyber security related matters
• Manage and oversee all systems migrations
• Line management for a small but growing team
• Manage all infrastructure for their new global offices
• Use Hybrid Cloud capabilities to manage Physical, M365 and multi-cloud estates
• Connect different teams together via Jira
• Responsible for Telephony
• Integration into Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tooling
• Define and publish in-house policies for IT, Security, Cloud Consumption and reinforce these through Security Automation
• You will expand their capabilities internally throughout all areas of the business. Their current tech stack includes Azure, AWS and GCP for cloud, they embrace automation through a DevOps mindset throughout their practices

Key Requirements:

• Experience within a fast growth, technology-led and scaling business is critical.
• Cloud - hands on experience setting up a multi-cloud environment.
• Cyber - either in depth knowledge of IT security or know enough to engage and manage a third-party consultant and of the back of that implement change (technologically and cultural)
• DevOps/change management experience
• Line management experience
• Excellent ability to take people on a journey, build relationships and influence where necessary.
