Job description
The Role:
The Head of Marketing within this highly regarded Global Asset Management firm, will be responsible for setting Global Marketing Strategy and leading the transformation of the Asset Management firm's Digital presence, including a top to bottom re-brand and building out marketing collateral.
The Head of Marketing will work independently and must be confident in presenting ideas to senior leaders within the Asset Management business - including the Sales and Client Services teams.
The Head of Marketing will have an awareness of financial promotion guidelines for Europe and will manage and produce marketing budgets.
The Head of Marketing will be managing integrated marketing campaigns and will be responsible for creating Marketing collateral (including presentations, factsheets, thought leadership content).
Work closely with the head of investment content to develop thought leadership pieces.
Develop strong PR relationships with the relevant external sources, agency partners and other external providers (PR, design etc).
Design and develop direct marketing campaigns including regular communications and reports, product launches focussed across online and offline channels.
Event management including planning of conferences, presentations and exhibitions organising and sourcing relevant collateral and merchandise;
The Head of Marketing will be passionate about the creation of digital strategy for the Asset Management firm, working with the Sales team on this digital strategy including social media and SEO.
The Head of Marketing will keep informed on digital trends, Asset Management industry best practices.
The Candidate:
Senior Marketing Management experience within Asset Management / Investment Management industry is essential. Broader Financial Services Marketing experience may be considered but the individual must have a genuine interest and understanding of global investment management.
Ability to build out Marketing Strategy from scratch - leadership qualities.
A strong awareness of Digital Marketing strategies, analytics and tools - Digital Transformation projects.
Solid writing skills and PR experience.
Ability to 'roll sleeves up' in a smaller business environment.
