This private equity firm is high profiled and invests in emerging markets. We are working with our client to help build out their investment operations function from scratch requiring the expertise of an accomplished Portfolio Administration Manager.

Alongside working for a company which is making a real contribution & difference, it is also an exciting opportunity to build a dedicated Portfolio Administration from the ground up.

The role is both strategic and BAU offering the successful candidate to contribute to defining and shaping the strategy and recruitment of the Portfolio Administration team working closely with the Head of Operations. Portfolio Administration Managers will ideally come from a private equity firm, a private equity fund administrator or an asset management firm to be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of creating a centralised Portfolio Administration function by transferring existing tasks and processes from other business areas such as the Investment Teams, Finance and Treasury to create a dedicated team whilst also reviewing and automating processes.

The BAU team responsibilities will include processing of investment transactions including processing drawdowns, disbursements and distributions, deal capture, setting up instrument data, verifying funding requests and payments, preparation of exposure reporting for the investment teams, portfolio analysis and reporting to name just a few tasks.

To be considered candidates will have experience leading a Portfolio Administration function with previous private markets experience such as Private Equity Funds, Direct Equity, Direct Debt and Trade & Supply Chain Finance. Strong Excel skills are required and those with knowledge of the eFront Portfolio Management system will have a distinct advantage.
