Job Description

To support our client's HS&E team in their implementation of their HS&E strategy, plans and procedures to drive continued improvement in HS&E performance across their operations in the UK.

Providing administrative backup to the HS&E team, which may include: -

· Daily involvement in Event, New and Expectant Mothers (NEMs) and DSE processes, which would include: -

o corresponding with various stakeholders (e.g., Workplace Operations Managers)

o assigning cases

o follow ups

o communicating with individuals.

· Monitor the team inbox, which would include: -

o Escalating urgent enquiries/cases

o Responding to general enquiries

o Logging Young Persons' Risk Assessments

o Logging responses from insurers

· Providing support for audits to include: -

o Booking team travel, accommodation and meeting rooms

o Scheduling internal and external audits

o Updating audit schedule

o Ensuring audit reports are signed off, and sent out in a timely manner

o Sending out communications such as emails and posters

· Supporting the Fire Warden and First Aid processes, to include: -

o Running monthly fire warden training reports

o Preparing payment lists

o Sending welcome emails

o Ordering and ensuring the distribution of first aid supplies, as well as First Aid and Fire Warden jackets

· Ensuring HS&E information, e.g. policies, risk assessments and templates, are up to date on the various systems within the firm, as well as providing updated copies to key stakeholders, such as Workplace Operations Managers and Service Heads

· Environmental training - general administrative and reporting tasks as required

· Stock control of vouchers for both eye tests and glasses

· Making amendments to various documentation, as directed by managers.

· Ensure records are maintained in the client's HS&E system in line with specified requirements.

· Ad hoc projects

Qualifications

Professional qualifications and experience:

· Excellent organisational skills

· Ability to multi task and adapt to change

· Experience in providing support to organisations similar to the client

· Willingness to travel

· Safety or environmental bias in previous roles, preferable but not essential

· Self-motivated, positive, reliable, tolerant, inquisitive, resilient and determined

· Credible

Additional Information

Location can be flexible and be based a number of our clients offices but preferably in London, East Midlands or Leeds. Some remote working is possible
