Job description

This position is of high visibility, reporting directly to the Head of Operations and working closely with the investment team and other parts of the business. Given the smaller, more nimble set of the fund, the role is less BAU but more analytical, managing risk and looking for ways to add value across the fund as it continues to scale. Project management will form a significant contribution to the role, particularly in line with fund launches, helping the investment team realise their growth plans as well as efficiencies across infrastructure such as OMS implementation.

Typical duties will include but not limited to:

• Oversight and assistance on fund execution
• FX hedging and efficient management of excess cash
• P&L reporting and analysis
• Corporate Actions
• Cash management
• NAV calculations and sign off
• Fees expenses and fund budgeting
• Client subscriptions and redemptions
• Regulatory reporting
• IRR and MOIC calculations
• Vendor management and oversight of third party administrators
• Analysing financial statements
• Supporting multiple projects, particularly fund launches and OMS implementation and upgrade

Typical experience would ideally include;

• Broad operational, project management or fund accounting/product control experience from the buy side
• Strong asset class knowledge
• Qual/part qualified accountant desired but not essential
• Ability to work in a fast paced, varied and less regimented and siloed environment
