Working with Government, community groups and specialist partners the association design and deliver vital services that assist individuals to improve their lives, in areas ranging from housing and employment to education and wellbeing.We would love to hear from you if you are:Socially conscious and want to make a difference Good at building relationships with team members and the publicFlexible and adaptable team player with a can-do attitudeAble to undertake a variety of activities with a substantial degree of personal responsibility and autonomy.About the opportunityAs a case worker you will report into the manager of the service and as you develop and grow in the role you will become responsible for:Completing a support and housing plan with individuals, communicating responsibilities and next steps.Searching on-line with individuals to find accommodation.Building and maintaining relationships with landlords and property developers.Attending property viewings with individuals and manage expectations.Maintaining regular contact with individuals, building a trusting, open and honest relationship.Ensuring all data is recorded and updated on systems.Working collaboratively with our local authority partners.Providing information and support to ensure individuals can find a new home by themselves in the future.In order to take on the above responsibilities over time, we will be looking for you to demonstrate strength in the following competencies:Curious and Inquisitive: You crave knowledge and consistently seek learning opportunities in every situation or interaction with people.
