Job description

A leading manufacturer of Vacuum Products used in a broad range of industries is now looking for an additional member of the Internal Service Sales, in Surrey.

As Inside Service Sales your mission is to maximise the sales and profitability of the parts and service business across the UK territory by promoting sales of spare parts and services to new and existing customers.

Your main duties will include:

* Prepare and control sales documentation such as create new customer profiles, updating customer databases etc.

* Answer incoming phone calls, responding to their queries and deferring leads to the Field Sales or Service Teams.

* Make outbound sales calls to existing customers and new prospects.

* Support the sales team by identifying opportunities to up-sell and maximise customer share.

* Maintain strong working relationship and communication between customers and internal stakeholder.

* Support sales administration works.

* Develop and maintain good customer relationships and ensure an excellent standard of after sales service is provided.

* Provide effective sales data, including quotation lead time and order ratio's (including lost order reports).

* Effectively update and maintain the ERP system in order to maintain a 360 view of customers.

* Attend training as required to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

* Undertake ad-hoc project work (campaigns, other marketing initiatives) as required.

* Cross-sell customers to appropriate services such as equipment sales.

Experience and Qualifications:

A qualification in a Technical, Science or Engineering related subject is preferable, ideally to Degree level.

You should be a confident communicator, with good influencing and presentation skills.

Ideally you will have previous experience in Sales and Customer Relations, ideally within the vacuum science / industrial sector.

Candidates with a strong interest in Science and Engineering, and an aptitude / passion for sales will also be considered.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
