Installation Engineer (Training in Heat Pumps)

West London

£30,000 - £33,000 + Pension + Holidays + Van + Fuel + In-House Training

Do you have practical experience in any form of maintenance or installation engineering and want to secure your career with a forward-thinking company that is able to offer valuable in-house training on one of the biggest up-and-coming Renewable Energy technologies?

This tight-knit and family-run company specialises in the installation and commissioning of Heat Pumps across London, particularly focusing on the West and North London areas. They have been growing their team of in-house engineers over the past year to meet increasing demand for their services, and are now looking for somebody who they can train on Heat Pumps.

In this role you will initially be shadowing a Heat Pump Installation Engineer and learning the trade with the support of an internal Design Engineer. Upon completion of a training period you will be provided with the tools and transport to work autonomously in a mobile role across the West and North London areas to install mainly Air Source Heat Pumps.

The ideal candidate will be have practical experience in a role installing or maintaining equipment such as AC, boilers, generators, coffee machines, gas appliances or similar. They will be comfortable working in a mobile role and will have an eagerness to gain training in a specialist field.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to progress a career further within the growing Renewable Energy industry with a friendly, down-to-earth business that has the resources to provide in-house and on-the-job training in Heat Pumps.

The role:
* Shadowing in-house installation engineers during training period
* Travelling to sites in West London and North London to collect supplies and visit client sites
* Carrying out installations for Heat Pumps mainly in domestic properties
* Signing off for works taken and communicating with customers regarding specific requirements

The person:
* Mechanical or electrical installation, commissioning, maintenance or servicing experience
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in a field-based role
* Professional qualifications such as an NVQ, City & Guilds etc.
* Experience with heating or AC systems (advantageous)
* Full UK driving license and comfortable with working in a mobile role across West London
