Job description

As an International Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a leading global Oil & Gas provider, working with the Group Tax team to deliver global goals and objectives.

This is purely an advisory role which will involve a broad range of taxes in developing and emerging markets, including direct, indirect and employment taxes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively partner with business teams to deliver commercial, practical and forward-looking tax advice for international projects throughout their life cycle
  • Review and assess all material transactions from a tax perspective
  • Assist in the review and development of the group's Transfer Pricing policies
  • Support the business units with their preparation of local s Pricing documentation
  • Support tax planning activities, e.g. recharging central costs and new country entries
  • Provide support on tax controversy matters
  • Actively support the development and enhancement of processes, systems and controls
  • Develop effective working relationships with other group functions
  • Support the delivery of the Group Tax budget
  • Assess complex tax risks in transactions and projects

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • International tax professional with good working knowledge of all taxes - direct, indirect and employment - and transfer pricing
  • Degree level education, professional qualification to UK Chartered Institute of Taxation ATII, UK Chartered Accountant, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in industry or in practice
