We are among the top 10 accountancy firms within the #x202F;The Business Technology team within Mazars supports the implementation of the digital change roadmap and day to day operational support of information technology for the firm. Within this the Business Technology Change team hold responsibility for the change roadmap, project delivery and the adoption of business technology change across the firm.This includes business and pipeline management, project delivery, adherence to project governance deliverables inclusive of demonstration that the stage gates for progression are in place to successfully and professionally execute end to end project delivery. As part of the role we expect demonstrable business change management and communication throughout to ensure that change implemented is executed with successful end user adoption at the forefront.The role of Senior Project Manager/Programme Manager is responsible for owning, managing and delivering key projects and programmes as allocated in the strategic project portfolio. Mazars is defining and delivering several new initiatives that will contribute to its overall strategy and this requires and individual who has experience and passion to motivate teams and deliver specific project #x202F;While typically in the areas of technology and digital solutions, projects can vary from foundation IT projects such as:
- Network and infrastructure change
- Cloud migration
- Communication and collaboration projects
- Applications and business solutions
- Cyber security
- Delivery and adoption of new business services
- Using technology to drive improvements in efficiency or new digital services
- Line management & developmental mentoring of the project change delivery team (Project Managers, Project Executives & Business Analysts)
- Responsible for the delivery and reporting of the approved change programme and reporting this into the Head of Technology Business Change
- Responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered within the current governance model against the approved change programme, are managed to budget, resource & time and demonstration of issue & risk management against the programme
- Delivery of project management on key projects; with a demonstrable experience of -
- Scope and Schedule Management
- Risk and Issue Management Customer and stakeholder engagement
- Finance, Resource and cost control management.
- Successful delivery, closure and handover to realise benefits
- Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress; providing clear reporting on a regular basis and upward escalation of resourcing & budget constraints
- Demonstrates ownership and accountability for the programme & project(s) within their control; inclusive of leading and promoting positive change adoption within the business
- Full oversite and reporting of the agreed programmes
- Continuous impact consideration for the overall programme and business; consequence analysis and communication when making decisions and carrying risk
- Adaptable leadership and communication style given the environment and individuals involved; ensuring stakeholder communication is managed
- Encourages effective cross collaboration teamwork throughout the Business Technology teams
- Ensuring the project change delivery team is managed and delivering against the approved level of required governance and outputs
- Demonstrates strong knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques
- Demonstrates ownership throughout the role by supporting others and be held accountable for the end deliverable
- Acting as a leader to the Project Managers & Business Analysts within the team; ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment
- Aligning the deliverables outputs to the program's "outcome" aligning to the business demand and reporting this in a way that can be cross utilised at an operational & executive level
- Clearly and thoroughly identify the scope of the project(s) by working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the organisation. External will include demonstrable ability to work with third party vendors in order to shape a collaborative statement of work that can be easily translated into a well budgeted project scope
- Defining, documenting and clearly communicating scope to all portfolio resources, providing an understanding of the scope as well as how it will affect other projects within the portfolio
- This scope should have clear benefits capture so there is a definitive value proposition in the project
- Represent the project to the appropriate approval authority for sign off to proceed
- Facilitating cross-functional planning workshops or information capture involving stakeholders, delivery resources and third parties as appropriate to create a valid and accurate plan
- This will be in enough detail to ensure integration of all activities, dependencies, and understanding of critical paths and key milestones
- Ensuring thorough understanding of the plan, key milestones and delivery dates, resources, and deliverables including a comprehensive budget
- Identification of any risks, constraints and threats that may impact the ability of the project to deliver to the required time, cost and quality #x202F;
- Ensure communications such as emails, articles, site awareness visits are planned, drafted and delivered in line with the communications plan
- Day-to-day management and reporting of the project (s) time, cost and quality activities, in line with the project framework
- Thorough risk and issue management across the project(s), Instigate mitigation actions, identify contingency plans and manage items through to conclusion
- Ensure effective communication to the project teams, internal and external stakeholders, partners, suppliers and customers.
- Manage proposed changes to project parameters - scope, budget, schedules as well as quality of project deliverables and ensure project objectives are met
- Regularly updated programme control documents, and delivery of reports in line with the reporting requirements of the programme and portfolio Manage all non-technical/technical projects that apply to the service line, keeping the relevant stakeholders informed of progress, changes and issues
- Communicate goals with clarity and provide timely feedback and support to the team, as necessary
- Work closely with internal and external training teams to help identify training needs to support go-live, including creation and delivery of training content where required
- Ensure successful transition of projects into the BAU service functions as defined in the Target Operating Model.
