Job description

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team of Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers. Reporting into the Data Team Lead and working closely with our Marketing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for refining and maintaining our existing marketing reports, as well as developing new reports that deliver insight into our marketing performance. There will be plenty of opportunities to enhance your skillset on the job through reviews and peer programming with experienced team members. This is a great opportunity for someone just starting out their career in data analysis, who is looking to pursue a career within fintech.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and aggregate data from multiple sources
• Maintain and refine existing marketing reports
• Produce insightful reports & dashboards
• Present findings to stakeholders including senior management
• Develop a good understanding of the business as well as the underlying data structure
• Depending on a successful candidate's interests additional projects may include: supporting our migration to Looker, working with our data scientist on marketing machine learning models, or building data pipelines using Airflow and River

Required:

• A degree in a STEM related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Highly proficient in Google Sheets / Excel
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team as well as keeping up with the new technologies and languages in the industry.
• An interest in Marketing Data

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience building reports/dashboards, ideally in Looker or Google Data Studio
• Experience using Python
• Apache Airflow
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
• Experience with Git
