The Role:

Junior/Intermediate embedded analyst to support the Global Equities team, with a focus on M&G's Global Listed Infrastructure strategy

Job Description:

To support a dynamic, growing global equities team by performing financial and ESG analysis with a focus on M&G's Global Listed Infrastructure strategy. The successful candidate will have two to five years of industry experience and will demonstrate the ability to comprehensively research sectors and individual companies, while integrating sustainability considerations in the analysis.

The M&G Global Listed Infrastructure strategy manages more than £1.5 billion ($2 billion) in assets for a broad client base across Europe, the UK, Asia, and Latin America. The unique, ESG-integrated proposition continues to attract client interest with ongoing flows into the existing wholesale funds, as well as commitments for the launch of new segregated mandates. Global Listed infrastructure is one of the strategies managed by M&G's Global Equities team which is expanding its investment resource from the current 6 PMs and 3 analysts to support the next phase of growth; the team manages more than £17 billion (€20 billion) currently across a range of global and regional strategies for wholesale and institutional clients.

What we are looking for:

As well as requiring analytical capability, the role requires creative thinking, strong communication skills and a willingness to contribute where required. Additional requirements include ESG reporting and documentation, engagement logging and archiving, preparation of client materials, and liaising with the product team with regards to eSG labels and sustainability regulation. A can-do attitude is essential, as is the ability to deliver clear, well-considered conclusions and opinions.
