Job description
As a Key Account Manager, you will build and execute business plans for your assigned territory; drive sales performance, market share and develop effective professional business relationships with customers. Additionally, you will implement robust account plans with complex customers including hospitals, institutions, local health authorities or private payers.This position will encompass territory across North West LondonPlay your part to differentiate Novartis as a leader in a specific therapeutic area.ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Execute account plans for assigned product lines/brands, customers or therapeutic area; and develop new business opportunities.Develop and apply an understanding of customer organizations and networks and of diverse influences that affect customer decisions (e.g. peer relationships)Develop business/clinical networks supporting Medical advocacy and key opinion leader plans, including medical experts from customer or academic communities.Adapt and optimize approach and communication style during sales calls, responding appropriately to customer needsMake effective use of available technologies and channels to support sales calls.Ensure that Novartis products and supporting services are broadly understood and available to more patients and customers.Deploy and uses Marketing and Sales promotional materials and programs; coordinate direct promotion programs and facilitates pull-through activities.Present highly technical portfolios to customer audiences.Develop deep specialist product and disease state knowledge in a specific therapeutic area and leverages this to build professional customer relationships and support sound clinical discussions.Uses detailed knowledge of competitor products' features and benefits during sales calls to improve sales of Novartis products.Allocate resources effectively for sampling, programs, and events, etc.Integrate customer-facing activities in cross-functional teams (e.g. Medical Affairs, Market Access) to achieve sales targets.Integrity & Compliance:Work within Integrity & Compliance policies and all company policies and ensures those around you do the same.Ensure a diverse and inclusive environment free from all forms of discrimination and harassment.Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Minimum requirementsWhat you'll bring to the role:Degree or equivalent.Relevant sales experience (Secondary care).A good level of intuition for business with the ability to prioritise efficiently.Extensive knowledge of NHS - structure, strategy and fundingHigh level of self-motivation and a strong dedication to succeed.More than 3 years of healthcare experience in the UK.You'll receive:Competitive salary, Annual bonus, Strong Work/Life Balance, flexible working, Top UK Employer, Pension scheme, Share scheme, Paid holidays, Comprehensive Medical Insurance, Subsidised Canteen, Employee Recognition Scheme, Sports & Social Club, Learning and development opportunities.Why consider Novartis?799 million.
