Lead Engineer

£60,000 - £65,000 per annum

Reporting to the Chief Engineering Officer, the Lead Engineer will provide the effective delivery of Hard Services and Fabric Maintenance across the Guy's Campus. Responsibility includes the provision of a customer orientated Hard FM service in what is a technically complex and critical environment. You will maintain Risk Management systems and statutory compliance requirements in terms of both execution and record keeping.

You will take responsibility for the in-house engineering team involved in the delivery of mechanical, electrical, BMS and building fabric services. A key deliverable is ensuring that the service delivery team is trained and competent in addition to leading their upskilling programme for team members. You will also provide strategic support to the Chief Engineering Officer to deliver the KCL quality, innovation, energy/carbon and value for money agenda across the Campus.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in maintenance and projects delivery, qualified to HND/C or Degree in Building Services. You will be an adept leader, with strong people management skills who can develop effective internal and external relationships.
