Lead User Experience Designer

User Experience Designer/UX Designer/UX Consultant/UI/Agile/Azure/Figma/Miro/Adobe Creative Cloud/Digital/Digital Channels/Mobile/Financial Services

London/Remote- Inside IR35
£450-500 Per Day
3 Month Contract- Extensions Likely

A UX Designer is required by our client to work as part of the design team improving engagement, customer satisfaction and other KPIs to improve the personal financial capability of people across the UK. This role will report into the Senior UX Manager but will work autonomously on one or more high profile programmes within an Agile squad. You will be working alongside and facilitating discussions with product owners, proposition managers, UI designers, developers, editorial, marketing, project management and business analysts.

Key Responsibilities:
. Leading a collaborative design process in a cross-functional team through workshops, reviews, critiques and handovers.
. Working collaboratively to define and communicate user experience vision across Digital channels.
. Conducting user experience audits and heuristic evaluations.
. Using analytics, usability testing and internal- and external research to inform designs.
. Creating and socialising experience maps, process flows, service blueprints and other diagrams to inform the full customer journey through our service and other advice agencies and partners.
. Iteratively developing prototypes for testing and review.
. Planning customer testing sessions and communicating results to the product team and wider business to ensure products meet or exceed user needs and expectations.
. Creating UI and UX documentation and assets including sketches, wireframes, low and high-fidelity prototypes, sitemaps and specification documents as necessary.
. Performing quality assurance for UI and UX work.

Skills and Experience:
. Solid experience (likely to be 3 years or more) in a UX Designer role.
. Experience with inclusive, mobile-first website design.
. Experience of working in a user-focused Agile product team.
. Experience with accessibility to a WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard.
. Understanding of accessible Front End development across multiple devices to inform high quality, implementable solutions.
. Experience of working with Axure, Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent tools.
. In-depth understanding of persuasive user experience design principles.
. Experience of working with user focused, content rich or public sector websites.
