SENDhelp are searching for a qualified and passionate Learning Support Assistant to work closely with our dedicated higher education establishment located in Uxbridge.This Special Needs College are committed to providing social and vocational opportunities for students with complex and mild learning disabilities. Tailored to providing learning prospects to students over the age f 16, this college offers an individualised learning programme for each student. These exciting programmes range from animal care to digital media all designed to stimulate pupils both academically and mentally.All students have a personalised plan which includes targets and objectives they needs to achieve in order to reach their chosen goal at the end of their course. The course skills enforced at this college are communication, orientation, mobility, independence, sensory awareness, and social and emotional development. These are all taught in a varied programme to support the learning style of each pupil.The college also works with support team who provide students with the appropriate advise on carer paths.
