Job description

Disability Sports Coach are currently recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Officer to be responsible for the management and delivery of our marketing and communications activities.

We run 14 pan-disability community clubs across London, annual disability sports festivals and inclusive coaching sessions in schools, colleges and community groups. We also train teachers and PE teachers to confidently deliver sport to disabled children. Since 2013 we are proud to have reached over 21,000 disabled people.

We are seeking someone who shares our passion to empower disabled people to lead more active and connected lives through sport. This varied role will manage day-to-day activities like posting on social media and responding to queries across all platforms, project-manage key campaigns, and develop marketing plans to promote our activities.

As we are a small charity, you'll have the opportunity to make the role your own and make a real difference to the lives of disabled people.

Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience

City: London / Remote Working

Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours) with flexible working available.

Essential Experience

Demonstrable experience of managing key projects and developing marketing plans to increase engagement among service-users while reaching new people with our activities.
Ability to effectively work with the team and external stakeholders to deliver all activities such as marketing communications, public relations and website developments.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and competence within marketing and communications functions including events and social media.
Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management.

Essential Qualifications

Degree level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. marketing, communications, business development) or equivalent experience
