Job description

A rapidly growing investment business within the asset management sector in London is looking for a Marketing Director to lead a busy and dynamic marketing team of 5 people with the potential to grow the team further as the business develops.

The Marketing Director is responsible for leading both strategy and execution for inbound and outbound marketing programs that drive brand awareness, lead acquisition and AUM for a high growth, scale-up ETF issuer.

The company provide a service to a range of asset management partners so you'll be confident providing a strong service level to our clients and partners and leading the marketing strategy to the fund investors. The role is hands-on, very fast paced and demanding so you'll need excellent organisation skills, can juggle multiple projects simultaneously and have a keen eye for detail.

Job Description
As Marketing Director you will:

  • Be a confident, driven and dynamic marketing leader with the ability to act as mentor to the marketing team, connecting their work with the wider priorities of the organization and the product launch roadmap.
  • Understand the industry big picture and look for ways to align tactical needs with strategic focus. You'll inspire, challenge, and manage the marketing team and partners to create engaging and meaningful content that will raise awareness of our brand, products across multiple channels and support our sales team
  • Be confident engaging with clients, partners and senior stakeholders to lead on developing the value proposition , compelling messaging, and direct communications to support our brand building at both brand and fund level.
  • Deliver high quality results, overcoming challenges and solve problems, as well as the ability to set, improve and streamline processes and procedures that lead to a high level of quality and execution
  • Work closely with the company's Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
  • Have a strong focus on reporting and metrics to understand the success of marketing activity against KPIs and how this contributes to growing assets under management
  • Have strong digital knowledge with extensive marketing automation (ideally Pardot) and Salesforce/CRM experience. You'll transform the technology stack to establish best-in class approaches and proactively report campaign effectiveness to stakeholders and partners
  • Develop and lead a cohesive strategy with our third-party PR and digital marketing agencies across EMEA to promote the brand and its funds in an effective way and get the most effective results from our 3rd party partners
  • Have knowledge of regulatory and industry rules, guidelines, and standards. Management of compliance oversight and coordination to ensure all materials adhere to established policies, procedures, and controls in place for audit purposes
The Successful Applicant
This role is suitable for an individual with proven track record of success in senior leadership marketing roles, ideally with 10+ years of marketing experience gained within a financial services/asset management environment.

This role will require someone to operate at a strategic level but also work with the team on execution and delivery.
