Job description
M&E Estimator - London - to £70k plus benefits
A rapidly gowing Facilities Management service provider is urgently seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to join their growing business in London.
Job Summary
Duties, roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Own the Bid Process - Estimating Costs / Renewals
• Labour loading the M&E Assets
• Completing the Commercial analysis & Risk profile
• Completing an analysis of the Specification
• Creating the Estimate and shape and put forward innovative cost models
• Manage the cost models for our contract renewals
• Obtaining and validating the subcontractor quotes while generating our relationship to obtaining best price
• Attending strategy meetings with Operations
• Preparing for the tender adjudication meetings
• Generate new sales opportunities
Business Development:
To assist with sales and business development functions to promote the company including, but not limited to:
• Raising awareness of the company in the FM market
• Competitor analysis
• Market knowledge
• Representing the company at events and exhibitions
• Maintaining and developing professional relationships
General:
• To be a 'team player' within the office
• Helping colleagues, as and when necessary, especially to meet deadlines
• Contribute effort towards Company Vision and Mission and observe Company values when actioning your objectives
Communication:
The post-holder should recognise the importance of effective communication within the team and will strive to:
• Communicate effectively with other team members
• Recognise people's needs for alternative methods of communication and respond accordingly
