The Role: Mechanical Maintenance
Location: Staines,
Salary: £28k-£35k (exp dep)
The Company
Our client, in the environmental energy sector, has an opportunity of Maintenance Technician to join them at their recycling processing site, a sector that provides stability and longevity. Be part of a secure and long term maintenance team on either the day or night shift.
The Role of a Maintenance Technician
• Reporting to the Maintenance Manager this role is responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the Environmental Processing Plant.
• As our Mechanical Fitter you will ensure that any mechanical problems are rectified as a priority.
* You will manage all planned preventative maintenance
• As our Maintenance Technician you will carry out any fault finding and repair of all associated plant and machinery, such as conveyors, hydraulics, etc
• Checks/Inspection of plant equipment
The Successful Maintenance Technician
• The ideal Maintenance Technician will either be a time served fitter/engineer, or have a City & Guilds certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
• You will have a sound ability in mechanical maintenance - such as heavy machinery, agriculture.
• The Successful Maintenance Technician will ideally have either hard facing or general welding skills.
* You will have good communication skills and the ability to work positively in a team environment.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.
• The ideal candidate will have a positive, cheery and can do personality and attitude.
