About the role
We are looking for an experienced Media Relations Manager, with extensive current media relationships, able to proactively create compelling content for St John, that will resonate with the public.This is an exciting publicity role, central to increasing the public's awareness and understanding of St John's vital, lifesaving work.

About you
You will have excellent knowledge of the media landscape and, based on the charity's strategic direction, know how to develop news story angles and content that will resonate with our target media.
You will own and develop relationships with key media outlets and journalists to position St John at the forefront of health coverage, young people and first aid issues.
You will be responsible for working with key internal stakeholders to ensure crisis comms protocols and procedures are up to date, fit for purpose and consistent when responding to reputational risks
