Salary Negotiable - competitive in line with market rates

Hours: 09:00am - 17:00pm, Monday to Friday

We're a young vibrant Law firm. We are looking to recruit an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor, to work at our Blackburn office dealing with a variety of Clinical Negligence matters. This role would suit an ambitious Solicitor who is looking to take the next step in their career who can demonstrate excellent levels of client care and provide specialist advice to support clients through their medical negligence claims. A Good team player with collaborative approach and will have a genuine desire to be involved in the future growth plans for the firm and support in the development and growth of the department through marketing & networking activities.

To be considered for this role you MUST have Clinical Negligence experience.

Skills/Experience:

The role offers good career progression and excellent personal and professional development. The ideal candidate

  • 1 - 5 years PQE or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Able to run a mixed caseload of clinical negligence matters of between 50 - 70 cases and able to hit the ground running.
  • Previous experience within a Clinical Negligence Department
  • Opportunities to assist on higher value multi-million-pound claims and gain experience of brain and spinal injuries.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong client care skills * Good advocacy abilities
  • Empathetic, understanding and professional
  • An aptitude for legal analysis
  • An ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with clients and experts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GDPR and Equality Standards
  • Experience of using a case management system Proclaim.
  • Willingness to be involved in social media and writing articles and bogs for the department website
  • An interest in developing the department and its reputation.
  • Perform fee earning work accurately, reliably and in accordance with the firm's quality and risk management procedures [Lexcel].
