Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to work in the Piccadilly area

Job purpose:

To carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, and respond to site engineering emergencies.

Working hours:

Shift hours - 4 Days on, 4 Days off - Early and late shifts

Early shift - 8am - 6pm

Late shift - Late afternoon start - 10pm

Job responsibilities:

* Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out safely to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.

* Respond to Building Management System alarms, and effect emergency repairs as needed.

* Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems and the Companies SHEA processes.

* Full Liaison with the Companies Helpdesk to ensure SLA & KPI Targets are achieved & completed on time. Take constructive action to ensure full communication & corrective action is taken to ensure tasking is completed on time.

* Ensure that all tasks are updated fully within their PDA or smart phone with clear and concise notes being added to all planned and reactive tasks.

* Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.

* Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and adhered to for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices

* Ensure and maintain the provision the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.

Training/Experience required:

* Experienced in building services maintenance

* Experienced of maintaining Building Systems & Equipment

* Good understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regards to maintenance activities

* Experience working on a client resident site
