The purpose of this position is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on both mechanical and electrical building plant, as a member of the on-site facilities team.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Positively respond to both our internal and external customers through effective communication and personal accessibility. Understand and deliver customer needs while building effective relationships.
Be an ambassador of the CBRE values and behaviours. Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors', and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.

Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required. To include the active participation in a safe working environment.
Understand procedures and processes and operate them to the required standard, including but not limited to the following:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to M&E plant in line with statutory requirements and best industry standards.
Understand the operation of M&E plant and complete proactive monitoring as required.
Respond to day to day reactive calls logged on IFAMS. Manage own workload when it comes to reactive and PPM tasks issued, close jobs in a timely manner and keep the helpdesk and customers updated on the status of jobs.
Complete regular building inspections to identify any hazards and defects (not just M&E related), report these appropriately and rectify within a satisfactory timescale.
Review and adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices, completing dynamic Risk Assessments where required.
Review subcontractor RAMS, issue permits, supervise subcontractors and monitor works to ensure compliance with contractual commitments, site operating procedures and CBRE A-Z rules.
Understand and adhere to the CBRE A-Z rules at all times, taking responsibility for keeping up to date with them.
Ensure that the plant rooms and store rooms are kept locked, clean and tidy and all times and any defects or missing signage is reported.
Ensure that site spares and supplies are ordered in a timely manner as and when required and stored in the appropriate place.
Ensure that uniform and PPE is maintained to a reasonable standard and any concerns are highlighted to your manager as and when they arise.
Take responsibility for any keys obtained and required as part of your duties, ensuring they are returned to the key tracker when not in use.
Participate in the management of Log Books, to include the filing of any subcontractor work sheets and completion of any inspection and testing records. These include but not limited to; PPE inspection, ladder inspections, emergency lighting testing, water temperatures, etc.
Liaise with subcontractors to arrange call outs as and when required, ensuring consultation with the helpdesk team for any purchase orders.
Complete all training in the required timeframe, both online and instructor led.
Monitor your email account, ensuring that emails are responded to in a timely manner.
Participate in the out of hours call out rota, ensuring that when on call out you are contactable on the call out phone and able to respond at all times.
Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.
Be available to work outside of core hours, to include evenings and weekends, where required.
Participate in the rotating shift pattern as per agreed rota.
Carry out any reasonable request from management.
Education

A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
Skills / Training
[Essential]
Formal Level 3 training in Mechanical and/or Electrical building services.
Awareness of Health & Safety obligations in Facilities Management Industry.
Ability to use PC and standard programs (Word, Excel etc)

18th Edition is desirable but not essential.
