It offers a payment gateway, global credit card processing (multi-currency), a wide network of local (non-card) payment methods, fraud prevention services and treasury services through a single technical connection. The company currently processes payments for merchants such as Skype, Google, British Airways, amongst others. E-Commerce is a huge growth area for the business - the market is currently growing at 10% annually, giving it the potential to be the largest business unit of Worldpay. The division is highly profitable with double digit growth.Role SummaryAn opportunity to join the eCommerce Optimisation team and help deliver positive opportunities for both Worldpay and its customers through the improvement of how key merchants' payments processing is configured. The role will involve the leverage of analysis and the development of best practice to identify the optimal choice of processing parameters such as geographic routing , MCC, security/liability options, additional data etc. An opportunity to directly contribute to the value our key customers receive in support of their businesses from both our scale of data and technical expertise.Key responsibilities include:In-depth assessment of existing Tier 1 customer configurations drawing on comparable merchant benchmarks and internal best practice knowledgeIdentification of opportunities to improve transaction acceptance rates and/or lower interchange, scheme fees or other transaction processing costsCreation of insightful information from the interrogation of performance dataCreation of value-balanced optimisation review packsPresent Optimisation review packs to both Relationship Managers and MerchantsWorking with other areas within WorldPay to implement recommendations in a timely mannerContribute to new customer setup proposal checks to ensure the configuration proposed is appropriate, supportable, compliant and maximises transaction performanceDevelop and maintain a library of optimisation techniques & opportunities for use as a reference guide and deployment across Tier 2Train internal resources (BD, RM's & Implementation) in optimisation to develop knowledge & understandingTrack & report effectiveness of changesCritical Competencies:Strong data manipulation & summarisation using , SQL, excel and/or dashboard functionality is essentialExcellent presentation and communication skills, able to look beyond numbers to identify trends and drivers, articulating them clearly and conciselyExcellent data interpretation and presentation skillsMust be able to develop good working relationships, especially within the Sales team where it is expected they will become an trusted advisorSelf-starter, able to thrive in a fast paced, results-oriented international work environmentStrong planning skills to ensure promised timetable of reviews are completed within agreed timescalesAbility to communicate detailed technical detail in non-technical languageHigh attention to detail and good quality controlBe able to look beyond the dataBe able to think outside the boxExperience:2-5 years Proven track record of applying analytical skills to a variety of business problemsKnowledge of the payments industry beneficialKnowledge of one or more Worldpay systems would be preferableExperience of working in a consultative manner with business managers or sales teams helping them understand the commercial implications of business trendsUnderstanding of core Wordpay on-boarding processes and knowledge of its underlying systems including likely impact of change is preferred.Experience delivering business solutions and presentations to senior management to drive business growth, with excellent communication and influencing skillsEducated to degree level/ or equivalent experiencePrivacy StatementFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
