To learn more about how we protect and/or process personal information, please visit the WFS Privacy Center at: - Payroll ManagerJob DescriptionObjective:Process and approval of payrolls across EMEA and APAC region (UK, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Dubai, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan) in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with local laws and regulations.Main Responsibilities:Administer the Year End tax filings and disbursement of employee forms for all countries in EMEA and APAC regionsSupport all relevant Finance and Accounting teams with reconciliations or general Payroll queries in a timely mannerEnsure that payroll funding requests are sent to Accounts Payable team in a timely manner for payroll disbursement of salaries, taxes, pension, social securities, and other relevant paymentsEnsure that monthly communications to the business are sent to remind teams of the monthly cut-off deadlines and duties for completion by a particular monthly deadlineBuild and maintaining relationships with HR, Finance, Accounting, and General Management to ensure cross-functional alignmentMaintain accurate journal entries for salaries, pension, taxes, and social security into Oracle financials by monitoring General Ledger strings at a company and employee level.Maintain daily vendor relationships across the EMEA and APAC regions, leveraging the third-party vendors for payroll processing and tax & compliance processingIdentify and recommend updates to payroll processing software systems, and procedures.Administer UK relief-at-source and salary sacrifice pension schemes and managing timely upload of employee and employer contributions into personal schemes for all legal entities, in line with auto-enrolment legislationHandle and storage of sensitive information from multiple sources both internal and external, and maintaining in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).Administer expatriate related payroll activities and coordinate with external tax vendors as needed.Maintain the EMEA/APAC shared Payroll Inbox, working to a maximum 24 hour response time. Supporting employees with any pay-related queries. Maintaining communication and relationships with corporate staff: Accounting, Internal Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, and People / HRLead transfer of relevant EMEA and APAC countries to other team members as workload changes, offering guidance where needed on local legislationMaintain SOX controls and coordinate annual testing and reporting with Internal / External Auditors.Support the Global Payroll Manager with process documentation to provide a basis in which to look at process improvement across the boardOther activities:Oversee and supervise the team activities and prioritiesCoach the team and provide constructive and timely performance evaluationsRecruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the departmentPosition RequirementsMinimum of 3 years' experience managing, calculating, and processing payroll - RequiredInternational experience - RequiredExtensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and taxes - RequiredPrevious Experience in Workday, highly desirableWorking on ADP Streamline, ADP Freedom and WORKDAY systems, leveraging and utilizing all systems to support the team.Strong leadership and management skillsExcellent organizational, processing skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSkilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook, and willingness to experiment and work with new technologies.Ability to meet deadlinesSelf-motivated, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative, and responsibleMust be detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a changing environment with a high degree of accuracyIND123
