The role

Our Client Support team are at the forefront of the hubs administration, creating delivery of great client service for end-to-end journey, administrative procedures, building trust and surpassing our clients expectations. The Personal Wealth Support team provide a first class service to our new and existing clients as well as supporting the Personal Wealth Advisers to give more advice to more clients.

Reporting to the Head of the Client Support, you will be responsible for the team, their development, training and the operational day to day management. You will be an inspiring individual, who will strive for success and have experience in delivering exceptional Client experience, operational management and ensuring that we are available for potential clients when they need us to be. You will lead and coach the team from the front, to be best in class at talking to and engaging with clients.

Through the team, you will ensure that great service is delivered to clients and will help in ensuring the team keep abreast of processes and procedures. Our vision is to ensure that all clients find it easy to business with us and that we provide a first class service at all times. You will also be responsible for managing the teams workflow and identifying and acting on any pinch points that may arise in the operation.


You will have a strong background in delivering exceptional client service and leading a team, along with a good understanding of managing workflow.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the Personal Wealth Support team, typically around 12-15 colleagues

  • Building successful relationships with clients and Personal Wealth Advisers

  • Ensuring every SPW client receives outstanding service

  • Maintaining consistent delivery of service from the team

  • Coaching and training the team

  • Managing the workflow for the team

  • Identifying trends and acting on them

  • Monitoring and maintaining quality of service from the team

  • Identifying, reviewing and where appropriate implementing improvements to processes/procedures and ways of working to contribute to business efficiency goals and/or to improve the customer experience

  • Overseeing the provision of supplies and equipment

  • Assisting with the organisation of key regional meetings

  • Overseeing the booking of transport and accommodation

  • Assisting with organising regional events or conferences

  • Assisting with organisation of local client events and webinars

Your qualifications & experience

  • Operational management background. Highly inquisitive, able to work and communicate with a diverse range of people and skill sets

  • Good knowledge of financial services industry

  • Be a confident and proven collaborator, able to lead a team effectively

  • Strong analytical skil

  • IT literate with the ability to learn various programs (Microsoft office, Salesforce, Clobba)

  • High attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Proactive, pragmatic and enthusiastic approach

  • Diary management

  • Ability to multitask

  • Strong communication skill

  • Ability to prioritise effectively using good organisational skills
