These positions require individuals with a demonstrable track record of providing practical, hands-on expertise to a wide range of piling rigs and heavy construction plant and machinery.

Candidates with experience of working on piling rigs (any discipline), drilling rigs and heavy construction plant and machinery will be ideal. Our client will offer you a stable, secure, and progressive career, along with further qualifications, training and development as required.

Due to continued growth and a significant forward order workload throughout the UK (including spotlight HS2 contracts), along with the genuine desire to push the boundaries of industry excellence and to retain their advantage in a highly competitive market, our client wishes to appoint two Piling Rig Fitter Mechanics offering demonstrable experience from within the industry.

Reporting to the Plant & Operations Manager, the roles will take total responsibility to work on the company's expansive fleet of rigs, plant, and equipment. You will be carrying out repairs, servicing, and planned, reactive and preventative maintenance amongst other tasks, either in one of the company's many yards or on sites across the UK.

You will also be required to carry out the servicing, inspection, and repair of a fleet of large piling rigs that must be kept in a "fit for purpose and use" condition at all times. You will be working on highly advanced, start of the art rigs and equipment, including complex pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems, as such, a good understanding of all these areas is required. The positions will also involve producing, keeping, and maintaining reports, servicing records and other paperwork with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. To carry out these roles successfully you will also require a full UK driving licence.
