Who we are looking for:
The successful candidate will be a placement year student with an eye for detail, good communication and collaboration skills and a desire to learn more about financial services within State Street.
Why this role is important to us:
Corporate Audit are responsible for providing the board of directors and management of State Street Corporation with independent and objective assessments of the design and operating effectiveness of the firms system of internal controls. You will be joining the UK Corporate Audit team helping to fulfil the global Audit division annual plan. The annual plan is designed to assess and communicate the effectiveness of State Street's system of internal controls.
What you will be responsible for:
As a placement year intern you will help us deliver the global Audit plan by:
- Becoming consistently proficient in audit methodology applying your skills to the projects you are assigned
- Working on the various project assignments across our global business
- Delivering quality work in accordance with your assignment and the direction of the project lead
- Escalating potential observations timely to senior audit management
- Assuming increased project responsibilities as skills and knowledge develop

- Currently engaged in a financial services relevant degree program
Additional requirements:
The successful candidates may, on occasions, be requested to travel to other global State Street office locations, subject to Covid restrictions.
