"I can succeed at Capital Group as a Portfolio Guidelines Analysis Analyst" You will work independently on most assignments and under the direction of more senior staff on only the most complex projects, analyses, and tasks. You will be responsible for overseeing Funds, client accounts to ensure guidelines are interpreted and coded appropriately. You will work with other GIC teams and business groups on completing projects and business processes.Your primary responsibilities/essential functions will require you to: Review and implement fund prospectus limits, client guidelines and regulations by coding them in the compliance system, Charles River Development (CRD), and/or Aladdin, a BlackRock Solutions order management and compliance system, in an accurate and timely manner. Review and interpret client rules, guidelines, and regulations to determine how and where a rule should be coded. Implement internal guidelines and controls for Capital Group products . Implement regulatory requirements and controls for Capital Group products . Implement internal rules as requested by Principal Investment Officers. Review and code rules as part of broad, more complex, projects. You will be responsible for partnering with Legal, the Investment Group and Marketing to draft, review and interpret guidelines and regulations for Equity, Fixed Income and Multi Asset funds and client accounts. You will work with Principal Investment Officers to understand the objective of each mandate and determine standard ideal guidelines for each mandate. You may participate in guideline negotiations. Work with Legal on the appropriateness of security offerings and complex transactions for client accounts. You will participate in, and may lead, projects and team/department initiatives: Collaborate with management to establish project plans. Identify and assess impacts, and communicate updates to managers and stakeholders. Participate in the development and enhancement of policies, procedures , and controls. Serve as a point of contact for multiple departments on client/investment queries related to portfolio compliance. You will support the team as a resource/expert in various ways: Serve as technical resource and/or as a subject matter expert in one or more area(s) to the team and other departments to resolve issues. Perform quality checks and verify the accuracy of work prepared by other associates. Participate in the training of other associates. Identify system and application issues and enhancements, collaborate with IT teams to define requirements, and test bug fixes / new features. Help with Fund-related tasks and initiatives, including prospectus changes and new Fund Launches and client onboarding. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. You will have the following technical skills: Used and have a solid understanding and experience of one or more Compliance Coding systems (Charles River, Aladdin etc). Able to code rules in a compliance system, properly utilizing established rule coding conventions. Able to understand the needs of clients and interpret legal language, and understand how these needs should be handled in light of CG's investment philosophy. Have worked as part of a similar function or a compliance monitoring team previously. Familiar with working with Tableau and Microsoft Office package. You have a good knowledge of financial instruments and investment business You are able to demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills with a diverse group of associates, senior business leaders, and the Investment Group.
