Supply teaching is a great way of trying schools if you are considering taking up a long term or permanent teaching role

Essential requirements to be considered for supply teaching

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
A flexible and enthusiastic approach
Have experience teaching in a primary classroom in a mainstream setting and have a good knowledge of the primary curriculum
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
