*Principal Medical Writer*

*£55,000 - £60,000*

*London / remote*

Albion Rye Associates are delighted to be partnered with an outstanding communications agency looking to expand their writing team with a principal medical writer.

Due to ongoing growth, they are looking for an experienced principal medical writer or a senior medical writer ready to step up into a leadership role.

This is a superb opportunity for someone looking for a position that allows them to lead a team of incredible writers, inspiring and ensuring professional goals are met.

The role:

* Ensure projects are delivered to an exceptionally high standard and in line with the client's brief and budget

* Work closely with the wider team to lead and drive projects

* Leading scientific discussions with clients - face to face and on calls

* Continuously driving organic growth opportunities on accounts

* Acting as the lead for proposals and pitches

* Line management and mentoring of the wider team

Therapy areas:

* Oncology

* Immune oncology

* Haematology

* Mental health

* Nutrition

* Ophthalmology

Requirements:

* Life Science degree

* Experience within a medical communications agency

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong leadership skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)

* Excellent organizational and time management skills, including when working under pressure
