Job description

Our client is an award-winning healthcare communications agency, with a speciality in medical education. They are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Principle Medical Writer to based out of their newly refurbished offices in London, with the flexibility of home working.

The Principle Medical Writer will work on the technical science whilst also achieving commercial objectives and aiding in the delivery of multiple programmes. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the scientific strategy value of multiple accounts across a range of therapy areas.

*Applicants must have considerable previous medical communications agency writing experience and be based in the UK.

*Responsibilities:*

* Managing multiple projects, improving processes and building strategy in partnership with clients
* Able to work autonomously to create educational materials with the highest level of quality and accuracy
* Provide support for more junior writers
* Help the project management team build relationships with clients and external experts
* Work with account teams and writers to ensure all client objectives are met and that projects are delivered on time and budget
*Knowledge, Skills and Experience:*

* Life Science Degree, preferably a higher degree
* Significant experience of creating content across a variety of materials within a medical communications agency setting
* Good therapy area knowledge
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Great attention to detail
